Forget about the LBD (Little Black Dress), these days it’s all about the LWD (Little White Dress). One of the surprising trends (for me at least) that came out of quite a few collections for Spring at NYC Fashion Week this year was the color white. White is one of those colors that most people battle with because while it looks phenomenal, it’s extremely difficult to keep clean and is perceived as not being translatable for all seasons. Not to mention the age old “rule” about not wearing white after Labor Day. Nowadays, the rules have gotten thrown out the window and it’s actually considered trendy and even edgy to go against the grain and wear white whenever you please.
The rise of the LWD is imminent and there are more and more labels producing some really cute dresses that can be worn for any occasion and that transcend seasonal changes. I’ve taken the liberty of selecting some LWDs that I personally love. Check them out:
