It's Feature Friday! Here are a few words for you: Cute, Fun, Flirty, Sexy, Trendy, Fashionable AND Affordable! Do any of those sound appealing? Well all of those words describe today's feature perfectly!
Closet Signature, founded in 1998 by a woman who simply goes by the name Kay, provides trendy and "Body Conscious" styles for the girl who dares to be different and isn't afraid to show off a little skin. It's hard to believe that Kay came to America by herself with only $2,000 in her pocket. It's true what they say…if you're going to dream, dream BIG!
Here are my picks for this week (all photos are courtesy of the Closet Signature website):
Sheer Contrast Maxi Dress w/Belt – $28
Contrast Faux Leather Top – $20

Hey Afaconados!
Today's color crush is on the color Aubergine, which is the french word for "Eggplant". This dark purple or brownish purple color is named after the vegetable of the same name. Aubergine is a very fall friendly color, primarily because it's a darker color and those types of colors are popular during the fall season. Those of you who know me well know that I absolutely love the colors purple and green…it's no wonder I chose to highlight those two colors first right?
I took the liberty of curating a few looks in Aubergine. Here they are:
Aubergine Cotton Jewel Belted Ruffle and Mesh Tank Dress – $160 at Bluefly.com
Majorica 8MM Aubergine Stud Earrings – $55 at Bloomingdale’s
Two Tone Sloppy Sweater – $50 at Topshop
Aubergine Ponte Peplum Blazer – $69 at Dorothy Perkins
Sadie Kick Jeans in Aubergine – $161 at Pink Mascara
Aubergine Embellished Cuff Top – $59 at Dorothy Perkins
Until next time!

Hey Afaconados!
Today’s Style Snatch is on Ashley Madekwe from the hit television series Revenge. Ashley recently wore a very simple yet chic black peplum top with skinny jeans to a party thrown by Joe Zee. To finish the look, she wore black pumps and carried a Union Jack clutch. It’s crazy how the simplest outfits can look so dressed up when worn the right way. I’m also in love with anything peplum these days so when I saw this look, I just HAD to snatch it!
Here are the stats of my Style Snatch: Top: Black Peplum Top – $41 at River Island, Jeans: Almost Famous 2 Button Skinny Jeans – $35 at Tilly’s, Shoes: Kelsi Dagger Brette Heels – $72 at ASOS, Clutch: Union Jack Chainmail Clutch – $30 at Target.
Total of my Style Snatch = $178
Until next time!

Hey Afaconados!
Today’s Style Snatch is on Emma Watson. I know I haven’t done any other snatches on her in the past, but shame on me for that because I absolutely LOVE her style. At only 22 years of age, Emma Watson is already what some would call a Style Icon. She has been on countless “Best Dressed” lists and is the face of HUGE fashion and beauty labels Burberry and Lancome. She carries herself with the grace and sophistication of the stars of old and has come a very long way from her days as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series.
I chose today’s Style Snatch because it literally stopped me when I saw it. Although the look is a very simple peplum jumpsuit made by Dior, the level of elegance she conveys in this jumpsuit is unreal!
Here are the details of my Style Snatch – Peplum Jumpsuit: ASOS Peplum Frill Jumpsuit – $69, Pumps: Bamboo Dash Velvet Pumps – $20.
Style Snatch Total = $89
This is definitely the outfit you should wear to your next event. Make a statement when you walk into the room!

Hey Afaconados!
I did a Style Snatch today inspired by a look I found on this awesome blog called Style Pantry. The writer of this blog has a very good eye for style and I’m in love with just about everything she puts together. Please check out this blog when you get a chance (http://stylepantry.com). I promise you’ll get loads of great outfit ideas from it!
Since neon has been such a smash this season, I decided to do a snatch that incorporated neon colors. What I love about this outfit is that it’s multi-functional. It can be worn to work (in a more casual office), for a cocktail with the ladies or on a first date. Either way, it makes quite the impression!
Here’s the Style Pantry photo:
For my Style Snatch, I went with more of a teal colored peplum top from Alloy. I advertise for Alloy on my blog so simply click on the icon to the right and this top can be yours! I was a little bummed that I wasn’t able to find that beautiful neon blue she has on…if any of you find that color peplum top please let me know, I’d love to buy it
I completed the look with a pair of skinny capris, platform sandals, neon bangles and a statement necklace.
Here’s my Style Snatch:
And there you have it! If anyone does this look, please send me pictures. I’d love to post them for everyone to see!

Hey Afaconados!
Turn up the brightness of your wardrobe with the latest Neon Trend! This new trend is especially fun to wear because all of the neon colors play well together. It literally took me only 5 minutes to put together the look you see below, and that’s because with all the fun colors and outfit selections out there, it’s so easy to find pieces you can mix and match.
My suggestion for those of you who want to take this new trend for a test drive is to not get carried away. While it is fun to mix and match neon colors, too much of a good thing can end up looking like a costume. Check out my creation:
