Hey Afaconados!

I read on Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) today that a number of London based clothing and jewelry designers will be collaborating on designs inspired by none other than…MINNIE MOUSE! How much fun will that be?! Minnie Mouse has maintained her place as a staple of cute, fun style ever since I was a little girl…and I’m no Spring chicken. With the latest trend being ladies wearing big bows in their hair (i.e. Kelly Osbourne), these designs are rather timely.

The designers, which include Giles Deacon, Michael van der Ham and Richard Nicoll will be joined by milliner Piers Atkinson; accessories designers Katie Hillier, Lulu Guinness and Terry de Havilland; AND jewelers Bunney, Tatty Devine and Husam el Odeh. Whew! That’s quite the collaboration! The designs are set to be unveiled during their Spring 2013 show. Although I have no insight into what the designs will look like, I found some really cute Minnie Mouse inspired pictures on the internet. Check them out:
