It’s Feature Friday!!! Today’s feature is on UrbanOG…“Unique styles and trendy apparel and footwear designs for both the young and the young at heart”.
If you’re a fan of stores like Forever21 and Charlotte Russe, then UrbanOG is definitely the store for you! The prices are more than competitive and like the tagline says, these clothes are fun, trendy and absolutely for the young and young at heart. There’s also a “Deals of the Day” section where specific items are featured at low prices that only stay that way for the one day…so be sure to get in where you fit in!

In Retrospect: Last Week’s Instagram Outfits
Hey Afaconados!
For those of you that don't know, I try to stay active on all social media channels, especially Instagram. Since it's not always easy for me to do daily outfit posts, I try to take a shot or two of what I'm wearing to work throughout the week. As I've stated on previous articles, I'm lucky to work in an office that allows me to dress casually. I love this because it allows me to express my true style by not just limiting me to professional attire.
I'm not sure I'll make this an every week thing, but at least for this week, I wanted to post some pictures of my outfits from last week.
Here they are:
Monday: Shirt purchased at Primark in London, Infinity Scarf (old) from Express, Old Navy Skinny Jeans, Cardigan from Ruche and shoes from Fiorentini + Baker
Tuesday: Thrifted Blazer, Short Sleeved Turtle Neck from The Limited (old), Forever 21 Skinny Jeans (old) and Born Tall Boots (old)
Wednesday: Thrifted Striped Sweater, Old Navy Scrarf (old), Colored Jeans purchased at TJ Maxx , Jessica Simpson Ankle Boots (old) and Cross Body Bag purchased from eBay
Thursday: Thrifted Shirt and Sweater, Forever 21 Skinny Jeans and Fiorentini + Baker Boots

Fall Fashion Trend: Printed Tights
Hey Afaconados!
How do you guys feel about printed tights? I’m not quite sure how I feel about them yet, but they seem to be playing a key role in this season’s trends. I think the reason why I’m not quite sold on them is because it just seems excessive to me. Maybe the trick to wearing printed tights is to NOT wear skirts, shorts or dresses that are too short. Kourtney Kardashian was criticized once for wearing printed tights with a romper (pictured below):
I can say, however, that I have seen some pretty good styles that incorporate printed tights. I’m all about print mixing, and as you’ll soon see, most of the styles I found pictures of really mix up the prints. PLEASE NOTE: If you’re going to try this one at home, you’ll REALLY need to do your homework first. You don’t want to look like Bozo the Clown when you wear your printed tights. Here are some good examples (at least in my opinion) of how to wear them:

Fall Fashion Trend: Leather Anything!
Hey Afaconados!
I’m not sure if any of you have noticed it yet, but this Fall/Winter is going to be filled with leather. And leather everything too! I’m talking about leather leggings, leather dresses, leather blazers, leather skirts…you name it, and you’ll probably see people wearing it.
Leather can be tricky to incorporate into your wardrobe, however. It’s not a breathable fabric which makes it less practical for every day wear. But it seems that designers have taken that into account by making garments out of lighter types of leather. Now don’t be fooled, it is leather….which means it’s not going to be cheap, especially if you’re going for that buttery, soft leather.
Don’t forget folks, the fact that it’s a leather trend does not mean it has to be real leather. Faux leather works just as well and is MUCH more affordable. I took the liberty of finding some affordable leather “alternatives” for you today. I wouldn’t be doing my job if I left you out there to find this stuff on your own now would I?

Fall Fashion Tips: 5 Lightweight Jackets for the Beginning of Fall
Hey Afaconados! As you all know, the first day of Fall was on September 22nd. The beginning part of the fall season is my favorite because the temperatures are cooler in the mornings, but just the right amount of warmth in the afternoons. The downside to the mixture in temperatures, however, is that is can be bad for your wardrobe. What do you wear when it’s 45 degrees in the morning and 75 degrees when you step outside after work in the afternoon? Thanks to the advice of my wonderful friend and coworker Ashley, I’ll be rocking some lightweight jackets while the temperatures are this way. Thanks Ash!
If you’re NOT a procrastinator like me and you’ve already packed up your Summer clothes, then you’ve probably already unpacked some or all of your coats and jackets. But in case you haven’t…and you’d like to do some more fall shopping…I’m going to give you my top 5 lightweight jackets for the beginning fall temperatures. All of these jackets are light enough to keep you warm in the mornings and cool enough to keep on in the afternoon.

Trend Alert: Floral Jeans
Hey Afaconados!
I’ve been seeing celebrities in floral jeans in recent posts on the internet lately and since it’s Summer, with all of the beautiful flowers in full bloom by now, it sounds like fun to walk around looking like a vase full of budding roses!
The floral jean trend is so adorable…plus there’s the option to dress them down with flats or turn them up a notch with platform pumps. I personally like the ones that are more on the muted side with pastel flowers, but I certainly commend anyone bold enough to wear the brighter ones. As always, too much of a good thing can spoil a look, so please be careful when wearing these. I strongly recommend wearing a solid color top.
