Feature Friday: The Real Real

I’m always cruising the internet to find new online boutiques to highlight for Feature Friday and I’m especially excited about today’s find because it’s one that not even I, Miss StushiGal Style Herself, knew about.

I’m a faithful patron of members only websites like Gilt Groupe, Rue La La and Hautelook so when I found today’s feature, The Real Real, I nearly jumped out of my seat! As their tagline states, “The Real Real is Luxury Resale – Stylist Selected, Amazingly Priced Designer Fashion”. The Real Real is the The Real Deal. This site, which offers luxury consignment (meaning ‘pre-loved’) items, has every major designer name that matters in the fashion industry including Hermes, Chanel, Christian Dior, Prada, Gucci, Alexander Mcqueen AND Christian Louboutin! I can’t possibly name them all, and let me tell you, the prices are amazing considering what you would pay if you bought new…up to 90% off in fact!

The Real Real offers two types of memberships. You can choose from the “General Membership” which is a free membership that allows you to shop the daily sales that become available at 10am on Monday, OR you can select the “First Look Membership” which costs only $5 per month and grants you access to sales 24 hours before everyone else gets to see them (Sundays at 10am). Keep in mind that consignment will mean limited quantity and sizes, so early access in my opinion, is recommended.
