It’s almost time for me to get on that plane for ALL those hours…and believe me it’s a lot. For today’s Look of the Day, I thought I’d give you all an idea of what I plan to wear and take with me on the plane.

Because I’ll be traveling for such a long time, it’s really important for me to dress as comfortably as possible, and nothing says comfort like a soft tunic with leggings and the most comfortable shoes ever…TOMS. To add a little “chic” to my outfit, I added a nice scarf and fedora. Oh! And let me not neglect to mention the best travel book ever written, Eat Pray Love.

Today’s Color Crush is on Seaglass. This beautifully colored glass can be found on beaches all over the world and it comes in gorgeous shades of green and blue. The color of seaglass is determined by its original source and is most common in Kelly Green, White, Blue and Purple.

Today’s Vintage Obsession is on the Floppy Hat. With my mind on nothing but palm trees, sandy beaches and sunshine, the Floppy Hat is going to become my official beach staple! They look so elegant when worn with a cute cover up. These hats have been around for SO long! I remember seeing black & white films with women who wore these on the beach.

In Retrospect: Last Week’s Instagram Outfits

This was a crazy week. I went from wearing my hair natural to wearing it in a ponytail, to wearing it straight! Whew! I don’t know how I do it. The way you wear your hair can really have a big effect on what your outfits look like, so I always try to match my hair to my clothing.

This week, I wore quite a few thrifted pieces after my trip to Buffalo Exchange, a new thrift store up the street from my job…please tell me why they put this store so close to my job and my wallet. If you’re ever in the Highlands on Ponce de Leon, you should definitely check them out, they have lots of great things in there.

It’s Tuesday! And today I’m color crushing on Coral (gotta love that alliteration) I’m MORE than ready for Spring and Coral is just the color to set off the season!
