Hey Afaconados!
Today is the first official day of Summer! I’m sure all of you ladies are working hard in the gym to make sure those platform pumps have a lovely pair of legs to go with them. I too have started to get my fitness on and I applaud those ladies who work hard during the day for someone else, then leave work and work hard on their bodies. I can’t stress enough how important it is to look just as good on the inside as you do on the outside. I’ll get off of my soapbox now 
There are some of us that love the athletic look even when we’re not hitting the gym. Another trend from Spring 2012 is the Athletic Chic look. This new trend is a good way for you to show off your hot bod by wearing athletic gear that is actually NOT meant to be worn in the gym. Crazy huh? If you want to pull off this look, try buying pieces like tennis skirts, racerback tanks and pocket tees. Just make sure you add a bit of chic to it so it doesn’t just look like you’re on your way to the gym. The key is to walk that fine line between Serena Williams and Gisele Bundchen. Take a look:
The good thing about this trend is that you probably own some of these pieces already. All that’s left is to add some pizazz!
